Process description of the service:
Within this service the IND partners is supported to preparing for obtaining certification. The first phase consists in, as always, product characterization and in the elaboration of an assessment document for certifying the product. Then it is necessary to carry it out and if the product is positively assessed then the product is certified. The second phase bridges from certification to CE marking. In this step is very important to understand if there is (or not) an applicable hEN for the construction product. Then the proper path trough the CE marking will be defined. The third phase is another possibility for certifying an innovative product than the CE marking: a national approval. This document will state the fulfilment of the product and its intended use regarding the requirements of national regulation and, if any, European regulation. Its process is similar to the process for obtaining a CE marking.
