Assessment of (bio)Polyurethan frames for windows and (bio)Polyurethan insulation foam on indoor environmental quality, complimentary to the results measured within PM&VL6, PM&VL7 and PM&VL8.
Product description
Indresmat's windows: KLIMA-PUR is a new top class in energy-saving windows & doors made from Polyurethane (PUR). Similarly to wooden windows & doors, KLIMA-PUR integrates a high-performance material with a circular design.
Indresmat's insulation foam: is a new type of Polyurethane insulation foam with highly improved fire safety, increased durability, and superior weathering resistance to be used in indoor and outdoor applications.

Building description
3-story building (130 m²) with a traditional ventilated facade, 4-pitch roof made of concrete tiles, 180 m² traditional facade, 3 wooden doors and aluminium windows.

Renovation plan
The renovation includes changing of windows and using the ventilation gap in the façade as container for installing (bio)Polyurethan injected foam as additional thermal insulation.
