KLIMA-PUR is a new top class in energy-saving windows & doors made from Polyurethane (PUR). Similarly to wooden windows & doors, KLIMA-PUR integrates a high-performance material with a circular design.

Building description

3-story building with a 500 m2 flat roof with asphalt fabric, 6000 m2 refractory bricks facade, 550 m2 concrete foundation, doors made of wood and 100 m2 single pane fixed plaster windows and 300 m2 single pane aluminium sliding windows.

Climate

The façade to be renovated is external exposed to sun and to rain. Climate conditions are the ones corresponding to Barcelona metropolitan area. In Barcelona, the summers are short, warm, humid, and mostly clear and the winters are long, cold, and partly cloudy. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 5 °C to 28 °C and is rarely below 1ºC or above 31ºC.
