Service Description
Pilot Line 3 enables the evaluation of PV products for their use as building envelop products: BIPV/BAPV. The evaluation considers the reliability of the BIPV products, by means of accelerated tests the stability and quality requirements of the materials of the products will be validated for their outdoor use as an active energy component for the building. Adapted testing protocols will be used by means of a systematic approach to validate also new requirements not considered in current standards regarding the stability end energy generation of the products. Furthermore, the ability of the BIPV/BAPV systems to be used in real conditions will also be evaluated in outdoor and simulated conditions. The line will be able to provide data useful for the BIPV manufacturer in order to simulate their products energy generation with most common BIPV energy simulation tools.
